Ghana’s most decorated music artiste Michael Owusu aka Sarkodie has released a powerful freestyle in support of Black freedom. This comes few days after the killing of a 46 year old African American Man, George Perry Floyd which sparked a series of protests across the globe.
In support of the protests celebrities, corporations, music labels and other global icons have decided not to post on their Social Media accounts on what is being labelled as Black Tuesday. The only acceptable post is a black square which is to be used as a symbol to promote the Black Lives Matter movement. Sarkodie has decided to add his voice to this through a powerful rap freestyle.
In the freestyle, Sarkodie is noted highlighting that slavery is still on going but in a different from and therefore urges the global black community to continue to push for their total freedom
