Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has been hailed on Twitter after he donated an amount of 10,000 dollars to support a brain tumor patient’s surgery.
A 13-year-old boy Michael Kofi Asiamah has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and needed an amount of $30K for treatment.
Sarkodie after seeing a GoFundMe account which was created to solicit funds for the young boy shared the link on his Twitter timeline for others to see.

The ‘Oofeesto’ hitmaker just didn’t end there as per individual checks revealed that he donate a whopping $10K, representing over 30 percent of the entire money needed for the surgery.
This kind gesture by Sarkodie, who has been tagged by many as stingy, encouraged others to give, resulting in Michael Kofi Asiamah raising more than 31k dollars.
When you look at the screenshot below, the top donation is 10K dollars and that was the amount Sarkodie donated towards the surgery of the young chap.
