Prophet Kumchacha has delivered a scathing critique of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, labeling him as the worst leader in Ghana’s history.
Speaking on Adom TV during the inauguration ceremony of President-elect John Dramani Mahama at the Black Star Square, Kumchacha described Akufo-Addo’s administration as disastrous for the country.

“Akufo-Addo is Ghana’s Greatest Enemy,” Kumchacha Says
In his remarks, Kumchacha didn’t hold back his criticism:
“We can all attest to the bad governance under Akufo-Addo’s leadership. The whole world knows Nana Addo is the worst president in Ghana’s history. Today marks his final day in office, and that is why I am here. If you are told to look for the devil and you meet Nana Addo, you have found him.”
Limited Achievements, More Failures
The outspoken prophet highlighted one notable positive moment during Akufo-Addo’s presidency: his reconciliation with the family of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings after years of political tension.
However, Kumchacha was highly critical of other aspects of Akufo-Addo’s governance, particularly the controversial $58 million expenditure on what he referred to as a “swimming pool” during the construction of the National Cathedral.
“Under Akufo-Addo, the country has suffered immensely. Spending $58 million to dig a swimming pool in the name of building a National Cathedral is unacceptable,” he added.
