RuffTown Records signee and Afropop singer Wendy Shay has lauded the Free SHS policy of the incumbent NPP government. According to her, many Ghanaians have benefited.
Wendy Shay disclosed that she is very much satisfied and impressed with Nana Addo’s government and the policies they are rolling for the people of Ghana. She disclosed it on Empire FM Showbiz program.

“The NPP has done a lot of good work and are still doing more in the creative arts industry. If you look at some of the things they have done, even not just the creative arts industry, for example Free SHS, a lot of people have benefitted from the policy”. She said.
She even disclosed how some of her relatives have all benefited from the Free SHS Policy by the NPP government led by Nana Addo.
“I have cousins, junior siblings in the country and they have all been beneficiaries of the Free SHS policy. So Nana Addo has done very well”. She further stated.

Wendy Shay having her say on the creative arts industry also called on the government to provide some stimulus packages to artiste to cover up some of the cost incurred as a result of the hardship brought by COVID-19.
“Nana Addo has done a lot for the creative arts industry. However, what I am expecting from him is that as a result of COVID, many of us have made losses. So I am hoping the President will pay a courtesy call to us and provide us with some financial assistance to cover up for the loss due to the fact that we couldn’t hold concerts” She concluded.
