Lots of Ghanaian artists have been complaining about people or Ghanaians not supporting their careers and music. Some have also alleged that the Ghanaian media have been sabotaging them by not playing their songs on air.
Some artists, on the other hand, have an army or fan-base supporting and promoting their music.

The likes of Sarkodie, Shatta wale and Stonebwoy, just to mention a few, have a fan base namely Sarknation, Shatta movement and Bhimnation who support their music any time and any day.
Ghanaian actress and now social commentator Efia Odo has a word of advice for upcoming acts and artists in General.
According to Efia Odo, “You can’t force people to support your music if they can’t vibe. People like good music whether it’s coming from a monkey or a rat. Make better music and you’ll get the support. Same thing for movies and tv shows. Look at how date rush dey trend every Sunday. Good content!”

Times have changed and its high time Ghanaian artiste changed their style of music to suit the modern trend or better still be creative in their field of endeavor.
