“If your song is good, you don’t need stunts to promote it” – Lord Paper

Sensational artiste Lord Paper, has disclosed in an interview with Sammyflex on Zylofon Fm that, “If your song is good, you don’t need stunt to promote it”.

He made this statement in the light of some Ghanaian artistes promoting their songs with stunts. He added that if you have a good song it will “fly” automatically without necessarily doing promos.

Talking about shows, he disclosed that he wasn’t getting enough shows in the past and even the shows he got were house party shows.

He also hinted that it took him 4 years to clean his brand from the controversy ( Awurama saga)

Although most people go through depression especially in the showbiz fraternity, Lord paper disclosed during the interview that he didn’t go through depression during the “Awurama saga” because he is a hard guy and nothing can break him down nor make him depressed.

He had his turn around when he dropped Dzigbordi a few months ago and the impact was huge reflecting in his social media following from 9k to 50k following.

Lord paper has lots of songs to his credit, notable amongst them are North K guy, Dzigbordi, Love no catch you before, Call on me and his latest tune Asabone featuring Bosom Pyung.

His Latest song Asabone, has received wide acceptance from Ghanaians, while some people accused him of sampling Dada Lumba’s “Ankwanoma” others also praised him for his creativity.

Lord paper revealed that Daddy Lumba’s “Ankwanoma” song inspired Asabone but he didn’t sample the song as some people are ranting on social media.
