Stonebwoy and Shatta were banned in 2019 from the Vodafone Ghana Music Award scheme following their heated brawl that saw the program halted.

However, In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Robert Klah who is the Head of Public Events and PRO at Charterhouse revealed that the members of the board have held a discussion on lifting the ban on Shatta and Stonebwoy.

“There is a reason why this altercation happened and you want to be sure that they don’t resurface. You want to have that kind of conversation to understand and agree on how things should move,” the PRO told Andy Dosty.

But Shatta Wale who promise never to return to the award scheme reacting to the pending lift of the VGMAs ban initiated by Charterhouse in a virtual conversation with DJ Reuben made it emphatic that without $169million negation, he’s forever out of the ‘bogus’ awards scheme.
