Maame Dokono sometime ago, decided to go into politics. She joined the NPP team in 2008. But the NPP lost the election. She revealed that she regrets joining politics.
She explained that she used her money to campaign for herself in her constituency. When NPP lost, she also lost everything.
She stated that she couldn’t act because a lot of production houses did not want to work with anybody affiliated to a political party.
Further, she disclosed she feel ill a while back but nobody she supported during her political journey came to her aid.
Finally, she admonished any actor or actress who has dreams of joining any political party to desist from it. She implored them to be neutral and not come into public to declare their ties with any political party.
