Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has revealed that he is the highest-paid Member of Parliament in the country.

Speaking in an interview with Adom TV, he said a lot of people think being a parliamentarian is a lucrative business, but they rather suffer a lot.
Ken Agyapong explained that the reason why he’s the highest paid is because most of the other MPs have taken several loans that get deducted from their accounts on monthly basis.
But he has only one loan (a car loan) which they deduct from his account. Making him to have the highest salary at the end of the month.

“We all take our salaries alright, but I am currently the highest MP in terms of what goes into my account every month. Most of the MP’s owe car loan which gets deducted from their salary every month,” He said.
