Radio Personality, Captain Smart born Blessed Godsbrain Smart has pleaded with the managers of Angel Broadcasting Network(ABN) to extend his suspension.
It could be recalled on May 6, 2021, that Captain Smart the host of Angel FM’s morning show ‘Anopa Bofo’ was suspended by the CEO of ABN Dr Kwaku Oteng for his constant attack on the government to do the right thing.
The pressure on Dr. Oteng from high-ranking government officials to call Captain Smart to order over his constant attack on the current NPP government made the CEO of ABN suspend him(Captain Smart).

Reacting to his sack on Accra-based Kingdom Plus FM, Captain Smart requested that his ’employers’ Angel Broadcasting Network extend his suspension.
According to Captain Smart, his suspension is a blessing in disguise and since he is not lazy he will never go hungry.
“The Politically suspended presenter who is seeking for extension of the political suspension. I’m happy about the suspension. The suspension has really helped me. I wish to be suspended for one month every 6 months. It takes only the lazy person to become a lazy fool and I’m not a lazy person. Make use of every opportunity given you. I plead with Angel Broadcasting Network to add one month to my suspension.” Captain Smart told Fiifi Pratt in an interview on Kingdom Plus FM.
