In a video making the rounds on social media, a grieving Beenie Man can be seen at the spot where his mother’s body was interred.
As he is being comforted by family and friends, the artiste, born Moses Davis, seemed to be in a state of shock. A man tried to get the attention of the unresponsive Beenie Man.
Beenie Man’s feet then gave way as he slowly fell down prompting mourners to rush to his side. About half a dozen men were seen lifting his unconscious body and moved him away from the area to get assistance.

The Dancehall star’s mother, Miss Lilieth Sewell reportedly suffered a stroke in July 2020 and was hospitalised for some time. After she was discharged from the University Hospital of the West Indies, she died a few weeks later in September.
What was supposed to be an all-white farewell ceremony became a frightening moment for observers who saw the “King of the Dancehall’ singer faint.
