FIFA has successfully installed VAR equipment at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium ahead of the FIFA World Cup Playoff between Ghana and Nigeria.
Th Video Assistant Review (VAR) works as a team of three people working together to review decisions made by the main referee.
They do this by watching video footage of the relevant occurrences off the football pitch.
This is the first time the technology has been applied in Ghana.
Pictures that have surfaced see a team of officials working and installing equipment of the VAR.
VAR has successfully been installed at the Baba Yara Sports stadium, Kumasi, ahead of the World Cup playoff qualifier between Ghana and Nigeria on Friday.
