Some of the abused girls by Anglican Priest Father Ricky at St Monica’s College of Education have pleaded with the Church and school Authorities not to sack him.
Speaking to ” Asante Mampong Voice” an online interactive page over happenings in the town, the girls who spoke on anonymity gave interesting secrets and revelations.
One of them revealed that Father Ricky didn’t mean any harm to them. It’s the media that have blown everything out of proportion. Again, they rejected the claim that Father Ricky kissed them seductively.
” It was just a brief kiss which lasted for seconds. It wasn’t amorous or secret. The entire school was present. It won’t be fair to sack him.” One of the girls explained
Another one too was of the view that she doesn’t want to be tagged as a student who facilitated the dismissal of a man of God. To her, it will be a curse that She wants to avoid.
Father Ricky was captured on video kissing female students as a reward for academic excellence. He also gave them certificates and books.
