Popular Nigerian singer, Simi has won the hearts of many with a humanitarian gesture she made to a total stranger on Twitter.
In a viral post by a woman who recently just got married, she is celebrating Christmas for the first time as a married woman in her husband’s house. She then went on to make a romantic and appreciative post on Twitter as she showered praises on her husband.

According to the happy housewife, her husband is a security officer working on a contract and hasn’t received any salary since 2016. He then surprised her by bringing home a Christmas chicken which made her day.

However, mixed reactions have trailed her post. While some people saw it as heart-melting and romantic, some decided to drag her by saying she shouldn’t be posting such “embarrassing” stuff online. Some also mocked her saying if truly her husband is the best in the whole universe, why did he leave her to defeather the chicken alone? Some also made jest of her grammatical error where she said “hole” instead of “whole”.
In the midst of all these, Simi felt touched by her post and decided to send her a huge amount of #200,000 to celebrate Christmas with her loving husband.
