Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been declared as the ultimate winner of Ghana’s presidential elections.
This was announced by the chairperson of the electoral commission, Jean Mensah today December 9, 2020.
the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, won the election after polling 51.59 of the total votes cast.
His main rival, Mahama of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) also managed to poll 47.36% of the total votes cast.
He contested on the tick of the New Patriotic Party and that makes the second time securing the presidential seat.
