Videos circulating with the two days of the partial lockdown in some places of Ghana has been the assault of some citizens who just can’t stay home and are not essential service providers either. Which has caused Legendary Ghanaian musician, Akoo Nana, to speak up about the matter.
Akoo Nana opines that instead of the military beating up and scaring the civilians who do not have any good reason to be on the streets, the government should rather speak to them so they put those culprits into action like cleaning up the streets since they can’t stay home. So to Akoo Nana communal labor to clean the dirty streets of Accra and its markets is better than beating them or making them squad which will amount to nothing.
