Controversial FIPAG PRO and movie producer Abro GH has accused Ghanaian rapper Kweku Smoke of backstabbing him despite his efforts to help the artist secure a performance gig late last year.
The Allegations
Abro GH revealed that he received a call from an event organizer, Ali, who wanted to book Kweku Smoke for a December 27 event. Acting in the artist’s best interest, Abro reached out to Kweku Smoke through his manager, Rap Fada, and negotiated an 80,000 Cedis deal, down from the rapper’s initial demand of 100,000 Cedis.
According to Abro, he ensured a part payment was made to show commitment. However, Kweku Smoke allegedly claimed he had not received any money, undermining Abro’s efforts.

Change of Date Demand
Abro also disclosed that Kweku Smoke unexpectedly requested a change in the event date, even though the original schedule had been heavily promoted. The reasons for this demand remain unclear.
Abro GH’s Reaction
Abro expressed disappointment, stating that his only intention was to help Kweku Smoke gain opportunities and reduce reliance on external support. He used a proverb to highlight his frustration, saying, “The chicken is not blamed for the crime committed by the snake, but when the eyes cry, the nose cannot stand unconcerned.”
Kweku Smoke Yet to Respond
As of now, Kweku Smoke has not responded to these allegations. Fans and industry players await his side of the story to shed more light on the situation.
This revelation adds to the ongoing discussions about loyalty and professionalism within Ghana’s entertainment industry.
