A woman from Asante-Akyem in an exclusive interview on Mpanin Atenase Show has narrates the reasons she has not been able to get into any relationship after 3 years of getting divorced. The woman voiced out that she went to stay with her husband called Yaw at Goaso after they got married. The couple was able to get a land to start their cocoa farm on it.
Months later, the man’s family members told them not to set foot on the farm again because the land is for the family. They got another land to start up tomatoes farm and palm trees plantation. After harvesting, the couple used the money they got from the farm to buy land and build 9 rooms on it. They also saved GHC25,000 at the bank, the two of them decided to build a storey building with that money.
Unfortunately, her father-in-law died, the woman and her husband decided to focus on the funeral rites first before they will continue with the building. The woman said her husband changed after his father’s death, he used to sleep with different women and doesn’t even give her money anymore. One day, the man travelled to his hometown but didn’t give her any money to prepare food for him when he returned.

He came back to find no food in the house at midnight, this made him furious and they started fighting about this issue. Her husband bit off her lips and she started bleeding, the woman too defend herself by biting her Yaw’s chest. She then rushed to the hospital for treatment after the fight, the doctors told her to file a report at the police station but she refused because she still loved her husband. After the treatment, she didn’t go back to her husband’s house but rather went to her hometown.
The woman’s family members called Yaw on several occasions to settle the issue but he didn’t respond to any of them. Some days later, her mother-in-law told her that her son has impregnated another woman so the two of them should get divorced so that he can go ahead to marry that woman. Two weeks after the divorce, Yaw married the woman who is pregnant for him and they went to stay in the house they worked hard to build.
The worrisome part of her story is her ex-husband invoked curses on her that if she sleeps with another man or dated any man she will die. The woman revealed that it has been three years now since they got divorced, although different men have been proposing to her but she couldn’t accept any of them because of the curse. She is afraid that it may take effect on her if she go-ahead to enter into any relationship.
