A 31 years old woman by the name of Afia Boadiwa has opened up about what made her husband decided not to sleep with her and also threatened to kill her.
Boadiwaa makes it known that she met her husband also known as Noah at Kokotre when she was 16 years old. It took more than 1 year before she accepted his proposal. They got married a few years after dating him and gave birth to two children, the man works at a galamsey site whilst Boadiwaa is also a food vendor.
The woman said although one of her legs is disabled but she work hard, bought land, and built the house they are staying in. But what worries her is that Noah always accused her of sleeping with different men when he goes to work which is not true. A few months ago, her youngest child fell sick, she sent the young boy to the hospital, and after the doctors did a thorough examination, they found out that, the child is having sickle cell disease.
He was admitted to the hospital for more than two months, the woman said her husband did not come to the hospital to check how their child was faring. She called him to tell him about the hospital bills after the doctors discharged him but Noah insulted her, he even told her to go and ask for money from the men she has been sleeping with. Boadiwaa said she became furious about what her husband told her so she too insulted him. Noah then invoked a curse on her that he will never have an affair with her again because she has insulted her.
The man again threatened her that he will kill her if he comes home to meet her. After this incident, Noah packed a few things in his bag and told his friends that he is traveling to the next town for work. Baodiwaa too said her husband sent her some money after they exchanged words on the phone. When she got home one of her husband’s friends told her that her husband has not traveled, he is still in the town.
Boadiwaa revealed that because of how he threatened her on the phone, she didn’t go to their house but went straight to her brother’s place. Whilst she was eating, she saw her husband walking towards her, he then started beating her the moment he got to where she was sitting. Some people rushed to the scene to rescue her, a cutlass fell from Noah’s trousers which made everyone surprised.
They took the cutlass and the man left the place. The woman said she went to sleep in her children’s room but Noah came and fought with her to go to sleep in the same room with him. The woman continued that her husband went to all her friends house that night searching for her. They woke up the next morning and found out that her husband has destroyed everything in the room, after doing that he packed all his clothes and was nowhere to be found. Since that day he has never sent her money to take care of the children.
