Ghanaian highlife artiste Peter Famiyeh Bozah known in show biz as Fameye has made some revelations on why he doesn’t go to church.
Fameye who won the New Artiste of the Year Award in the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Award disclosed on UTV popular show ‘Atuu’ host by Abeiku Santana that he has stopped going to church to worship because some church members were not comfortable with his hair style.

To the ‘Nothing I Get’ hit maker, he was really committed to going to church every Sunday to worship until he decided to change his hair style to dread with ears pierced together but got criticised by some leaders of his church.
However, he didn’t like the attitude towards him after his dread so decided to stop going to church and continued to whorship God in his home because being a Christian lives within you not going to church.
“I’ve stopped going to church. I used to be a committed churchgoer but after changing my hairstyle to locks and pierced my ears, I got criticised by some old women in my church.” Fameye told Abeiku Santana.

“So, I thought that Christianity is in the heart. So, I stopped attending church. Once in a while, I attend prayer sessions, but I don’t commit myself to regular services anymore,” He said.
