Lala Kent claims she can’t mourn the loss of her relationship with ex-fiancé Randall Emmett because it “wasn’t ever real.”
“I feel like I’m not suffering,” the “Vanderpump Rules” star told guest Larsa Pippen on Wednesday’s episode of her “Give Them Lala” podcast.
“Yes, there was a lot of betrayal. What he was doing behind-the-scenes was not the same as the life he was portraying when we were around each other,” she continued.
“So, it’s hard for me to come from a place of, like, mourning a loss when there was no loss because it wasn’t ever real.”
Pippen, who was married to NBA superstar Scottie Pippen until their separation in 2016, replied, “I get what you’re saying. You’re looking at it like that and I promise you when we talk in, like, two years, you’re going to be looking at it differently.”
Kent responded, “I hope so.”
The reality star, 31, called off her engagement to Emmett, 50, in October 2021 after photos of “The Irishman” producer allegedly cheating on her surfaced online.
The former couple share 1-year-old daughter Ocean, and Kent has not been shy about telling the public her true feelings about her father’s child since their breakup.
In December 2021, Kent claimed the engagement ring Emmett bought her was “fake” after a jeweler told her the diamond “was most likely brown” before it went through a treatment process.
The Bravo star has also said in interviews that Emmett was the “worst thing” to ever happen to her, alleging that when they had sex, she “couldn’t wait for it to be over.”
Meanwhile, Emmett has admitted to playing a role in the demise of the couple’s relationship, sharing on pal Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s podcast, “Genuinely GG,” earlier this week, “I’ve made mistakes, she’s made mistakes, but I’m never going to bring that to light because that’s just not right.”
He added, “For me, I just don’t feel it’s appropriate. I can’t tell her what to do. She’s a strong woman, and I just hope that in time that kind of all mellows out.”
