A video currently circulating on social media sighted by odarteyghnews.com shows the moments of a gang recruiting fire service personnel busted at Lapaz hotel goes viral on social media.
Ghana National Fire Service, GNFS, and the Ghanaian Police Service, GPS, stormed an Accra hotel to arrest a group of fraudsters purporting to be recruiting the unsuspecting public into the GNFS.
The joint operation led by the GNFS, with support from armed plain cloth police personnel, stormed the Day and Night Hotel at Abeka Lapaz behind Extra O in Accra to interrupt the recruiting process.
A viral video posted by the GNFS, which captured the moment of arrest, saw scores of prospective applicants at the Day and Night Hotel.
According to the GNFS, the prospective applicants had paid various amounts of monies to the suspected fraudsters to facilitate their entry into the service.
Numbering about 100, the suspects were taking them through what they were made to believe was a recruitment process.
