An undertaker known as Bafour Awuah has been sharing how they interact and sometimes fight with dead bodies before they dress them.
Even before anyone can have the courage to dress a dead body, the person must have extraordinary powers spiritually and that is exactly how Bafour has trained himself to be. He revealed in an interview with Oheneba Media that he has had uncountable encounters with dead persons and sometimes needed to have a chat with them spiritually before he can touch them.
He recounted instances where dead bodies frown their faces in anger in an attempt to reject the dressing. Others strangely overturn when nobody has touched them. When it happens like that it demands a lot of effort to get them back to normal. According to Baffour, he has had several long chats with most of the dead bodies in the spirit by pouring libation to calm them down. Sometimes he has to chant accolades on them before they calm down to be dressed.
There are words they speak to make them have a good face before they are dressed to be presented to the public. He also recounted several occasions where he has fought with dead bodies in the spirit for them to be allowed to be dressed. Bafour who has worked as an undertaker for twenty years has also struggled with the spirits of dead bodies on several occasions. He has seen it all and has a lot of experience in the spiritual world. He has dressed a lot of dead bodies and indicates that human beings are nothing after death.
