It was a lively chat as Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer of the NDC sat with Adom TV’s Daakyehene Nana Yaw Asante to discuss issues affecting the nation. They talked about issues like galamsey, fix the country, and the economy.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the leaders of the country have disappointed the youth thus leading to a massive online protest.
Sammy Gyamfi maintained that the protest was not being led by the NDC but rather a combination of politically unconscious men, some being NDC and others being NPP. He asserted that the Nana Akufo-Addo government has been appalling in lifting the standard of living of Ghanaians.
“All that Dr. Bawumia posted regarding his response to the fix the country is nothing to talk about. Most of the answers are a cocktail of outright lies. Do your checks. There is nothing like free TVET. Only 48 out of 252 TVET institutions under the Ministry of Education are enjoying free SHS. He spoke about 1 village 1 dam which we all know is not true. Even Hawa Koomson confirmed it.
He also said they have reduced import duties between 30-50%. If you like take your cameras to the Tema or Takoradi Port and verify. You will see a clear difference between now and 2016. It has rather gone high” Sammy Gyamfi explained.
