A video of a newly built fufu pounding machine has surfaced online.
The machine built to save human energy used in the pounding of fufu was built by the Casa De Ropa company at Gomoa Bewadze in the Central Region of Ghana.
Unlike another fufu machine that replaces the pounding of cooked cassava with grinding, this one maintains the traditional pounding with a pestle.
Except that humans will not be needed for the pounding because the machine does the pounding while the human does the turning of the cassava in the mortar.
