November 12, 2020, was a “Black Thursday” for Ghana and the world as we were hit with the shocking news of the demise of Former President Jerry John Rawlings, affectionately referred to as “Papa J”.
The unexpected news came as a big blow to his admirers and supporters; most being celebrities and the ordinary Ghanaians.
They flooded social media with tributes as a way of paying their last respect to him and it was really overwhelming.
Controversial media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger was not left out as she shared an old video of JJ Rawlings followed with a message.

According to Afia, growing up, all she ever wanted was to have kids that do not only look like “Papa J” but also take after his handsomeness.
“All I wanted was kids that looked like J.J. Didn’t understand the mix race concept… “Thank you sir.. cos I did and oh my goodness they are just handsome like you. Good night my hero.. I “m glad I waz able to tell u this in person,” she wrote.
