Ghanaian veteran actor Prince Yawson known in showbiz as Waakye has sadly disclosed how he was ignored by the general public and his industry players when he needed help from them in his his sickbed.

There were several reports concerning the health condition of the veteran actor but shockingly no one came to the aid of the actor.
According to Waakye, his fiancée tried to raise funds for him through public appeal but that yielded no results.
Speaking to Joy News’, he said ‘‘no one donated money into the mobile money account put out by his partner’’.
In an Interview with Joy News presenter Doreen Avio, he indicated that he didn’t solicit the funds himself but said his fiancee was forced to do that so that people could send money to support him.

“If people are putting mobile money accounts out for me, fine, but I have not received a dime from anybody … so everyone must know that if anyone is receiving money on my behalf, then they are keeping it,” he said.
