Self-styled Ghanaian comedian Dr. UN has once again become a topic of discussion.
This follows his arrest by the Kumasi police at the premises of Hello FM on Saturday afternoon.
The man who gained fame by scamming celebrities and politicians with fake UN awards is currently behind bars.

According to a report filed by Peace FM’s correspondent in Kumasi, Samson K. Nyamekye, ‘Dr. UN’ has been on the radar of the security agencies for quite some time now, after a fake award ceremony he organized at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
Following this development he was arrested and later bailed using his parents as sureties.
After being bailed, Dr. UN was expected to be making regular appearance at the court which he failed to do.
After several years of trying to play hide and seek with the police, Dr. UN was heard on Kumasi-based Hello FM granting an interview. A court warrant was then sent to him and he was arrested.

He has since been placed in police custody.
