It is a commitment that should not be underestimated. Marriage would be a lifetime, and it was something that would only happen when both parties were ready. Here are 6 signs that you are not ready for a wedding yet.

    1. You are not ready to give up your free life:

If you are single for years, and you have already set up your routines and lifestyle, it is difficult to leave everything. Marriage means sharing your life with someone else, and it can be scary if you’re not ready for it yet.

If you are not ready to give up your freedom, then marriage is definitely not for you. You need to be willing to share everything with your partner – including your time and space.

    2. It is annoying to be with someone:

Marriage means being with someone for life. This can be a daunting task if you are not used to it, especially if you always put yourself first. If you are not ready to take on this responsibility, then marriage is certainly not for you.

You have to be willing to handle everything and everything your partner suits you. You should also enjoy spending as much time and energy as your partner gives you.

    3. Do you think you are not good enough for marriage:

Marriage is a lifelong commitment. If you don’t think you’re good enough for marriage, you shouldn’t get married. This means that you have low self-esteem and do not deserve to be happy.

Before marriage, you must trust yourself and your relationship to prevent your marriage from falling apart. You must also believe that your husband is the best person you have ever met.

    4. You don’t want to change the status of your Facebook relationship:

As singles, we want to let the world know we are in the market. One way to achieve this is to keep our relationship on social networks “united”. If you still want the excitement of a random person who walks through your site and sends you messages out of nowhere, then believe that you are not ready to settle with a partner.

Instead, focus on the good things in life and work on your relationship before it becomes official on Facebook.

    5. Not sure if you believe in marriage:

I have heard many young Nigerian women say “marital fraud”. If some members of this generation think like this, how can they prepare for the wedding? Marriage is a sacred institution that should not be underestimated. If you are not sure whether you believe it or not, how to do it? If you want to make this commitment, you must have faith in the institution of marriage. You must believe that marriage comes with a responsibility that comes with peace, pride and joy when it is fulfilled.

    6. You don’t want to deal with marital stress:

Weddings are undoubtedly very stressful to plan and implement. Many people are constantly reluctant to find meaningful relationships because they cannot imagine the perfect marriage for themselves. Do yourself a favor and plan your wedding as you see fit.

Not everyone needs to have a clear ceremony – you can make it a small meeting of real friends who really care about your happiness. But don’t let the stress of a big wedding ceremony scare you from the wedding.
