1. Cancer

According to the American Cancer Society, significant weight loss happens most often with cancers that affect the stomach, pancreas, esophagus and lung. Cancer is a killer disease that takes no mercy on its sufferer. A person with cancer almost knows that he or she has it before going to see a doctor. Since weight loss can be caused by many factors, it is important to do a test before concluding you have cancer.

2. HIV/AIDS

HIV/AIDS may take many years to finally manifest, but when it does, it starts out by eating the flesh left it you.

3. Malaria
