3 Common Mistakes When Using Condom

It’s not enough to just use condoms. You have to use them correctly. But many people do not.

That’s because a lot of people have a love-hate relationship with condoms.

The most common complaints are: They reduce sensation, they’re difficult to put on.

And, unquestionably, condoms can go a long way toward preventing both pregnancy and STDs from HIV to herpes, with a lot of very unpleasant stops in between.

Here are some top most dangerous condom mistakes you may be doing and make sure to stop them.

They are:

1. Not checking visible damage: Some people never bother looking for tears or holes even if they use their teeth to open the packet which you should stop or tear the condom on their jewelry or fingernails.

2. Not checking expiry date: Don’t confuse the expiry date (EXP) with the manufacture date (MFG).

Condoms last a lot longer up to 5 years for plain ones, though only 2 years or so for those with a spermicide, which gradually breaks down the latex.

But condoms kept in men’s wallets get toasty from body heat, which can considerably shorten a condom’s life expectancy (and maybe yours). If a condom is sticky, discard it.

3. Not using condom at all(biggest mistake): Don’t let sweet talks of some men deceive you or the smell of some condoms turn you off.

If you are not comfortable with the condom, you get another or if your partner(except your husband/wife)is not ready to use one, you abstain.

You should get it right and save your love life.
