Ghana’s Black Stars will face Nigeria in the World Cup Playoffs in 2022.
The draw, which took place in Cameroon on Saturday afternoon, will put West African teams against each other in a two-legged tie for a spot in the next World Cup in Qatar.
The Black Stars defeated South Africa 1-0 in their final group qualifying match to advance to the playoffs, while Nigeria’s Super Eagles finished first in their group after a 1-1 draw with Cape Verde in their final group match.
The third round of World Cup qualifiers will be held between March 24 and 29, 2022.
