Gospel musician Vida Afriyie in an interview recounts her experience in Saudi Arabia.

The musician revealed that because of poverty, she decided to go to Saudi Arabia to be a house help.

She gave a thorough account of what she went through in Saudi Arabia.

She explained she had to stay indoors for two years. Because all the maids in the country are not allowed to go out.

Further, she revealed that sometimes after slaving in the kitchen, she ends up not getting food to eat. She was sometimes made to eat left overs.

Furthermore, the artiste disclosed she was given in an injection which gave her several complications. She later got to find out that the injection was to numb her body. Because of the rigorous work she was meant to do.

The musician explained that her agent in Saudi Arabia wanted to sleep with her when she told him she wanted to come back to Ghana.

Finally, she was able to come to Ghana after she got help from her Senegalese friend.
